Kassai Scythian bow for sale! Makes an excellent children’s bow. A smooth draw out to 24 inches.  This bow has no ears or siyahs, so it is a simple recurve. This bow weighs only 1 lb. 2 oz. Measuring 48 inches tall strung and 50 inches unstrung. A rugged bow, it can be over drawn to 28 inches but efficiency drops off past 24 inches. Available from 15# to 52# (measured at 22 inches).

Scythia and Ancient Greece

The lands of Scythia were according to the ancient Greeks just north of the black sea. The nomadic Scythians were always in contact with the sedentary Greeks. The most detailed account of these mysterious people come to us from the Greek historian Herodotus. The Scythian tribes would grow very powerful and wealthy trading in slaves to the Greeks.
