Saluki Bows
Saluki Bows
Founded in 1998 by Lukas Novotny, Saluki Bows has been producing high-end Asiatic composite bows for over two decades. These bows are noted for their exceptional craftsmanship and represent the very best in historic Asiatic composite bows.
Traditional materials used in composite bow design (wood, sinew, and horn) are joined together to create these archery masterpieces. Saluki features bows based on Scythian, Turkish, Magyar, and Mongolian designs to name a few.
As well as designing and manufacturing these exquisite bows, Lukas is also a highly skilled and successful mounted archer himself, racking up dozens of awards and trophies from competing in archery tournaments around the world.
Although Lukas’ work deals primarily with Asiatic composite bows built using traditional materials, Saluki Bows does feature a collection of fiberglass bows as well as hybrids, made using a combination of modern and traditional materials.
